after 7 years in business, I was still telling myself that I wasn’t a salesperson - sticking to social media to promote my business and getting stuck at a £3-5k revenue per month.
everything changed when i learnt to pick up the phone...
in that previous business, i designed & manufactured bridal accessories. one day, after a challenge from a mentor, i picked up the phone and started calling bridal boutiques.
over 10 months, i made 6000 cold calls to every bridal boutique in the UK
travelled 22,000 miles to take 156 f2f sales meetings
and had the collection stocked in 70+ boutiques!
Then, when someone asked me: “can you teach me how to do it?”
